On the planet Yöth, the Royal Astronomer Exeri uses his greatest invention to spy on the denizens of the galaxy. He takes his notes as he scries their secrets through The ARCANE TELESCOPE
On the planet Aganheim, Exeri finds a lone practioner of magic. His occult aspirations prove fruitful as he summons a creature before him. It is bulbous and glowing, and there shines a light of mischevous pride in the eyes of the summoner. Before Exeri moves on he takes a second look at the specimen and recognizes it as a Boglochian Bolsorien, otherwise known as an infant world eater.
On the plains of Orbis stands the solitary kingdom of Poht. Its knights revered throughout the stars as capable and stalwart, albeit a bit too fond of their drink. Exeri, looking through the Arcane Telescope, sees the castle of Poht burn. It seems that the knights had grown weary of their king, and in a plot to start anew, burned the castle city to the ground. Exeri watched as they drank wine and watched the cinders burn.
The lush gardens of Epressa are known even in far distant star systems. Their rich collection of flora and fauna have captivated countless explorers, and the beauty of their native population is unparalleled. Exeri spies one such individual basking in the glow of a setting sun, surrounded by wildlife. Exeri spends a few extra minutes looking at the gardens of Epressa.
Now that Aganheim has rotated, Exeri points his device back towards the forest planet. This time he sees another lone individual, a small Goblin lad in traditional Goblin attire. Exeri examines the boy for a protracted moment but the young goblin stands perfectly still peering into the gleam of a small rough blade. Exeri decides to move on, deeply unsettled by what he has seen.
Exeri pulls a small lever, turns a small crank, and adjusts a large dial and suddenly the Scholar System comes into focus. A miniscule collection asteroids that are home to the greatest university in the galaxy. But Exeri looks past the campuses, and the lecture halls. He looks past the common rooms, and cantinas, and instead focuses on a a sewer, where a glimmer caught his eye. There he finds a student whose experiment has gone wrong. What they are now, not even the great Exeri could say. He merely makes note of them as A Former Scholar
The gardens of Epressa seemed to call Exeri’s name again, so he wound his mechanism back. Upon his return he was in the personal garden of an Epressan witch under the full moon. Her beauty entranced the astronomer and he forgot to take any notes...other than her coordinates.

Exeri sneezes and the mechanism whirls and then stops so that the lens is pointing at a cold dark spot in space. Exeri looks through onto a sight that will haunt him the rest of his life. The sorrow of a trillion worlds looks back through the telescope and into Exeri’s soul. He quickly throws a dial and tries not to look at the coordinates, unsure of what he has seen.

Shaken, Exeri finds the circus planet, and zooms in to cleanse his palette. He lands on a sword swallower at a bonfire. Upon further inspection Exeri isn’t certain that this is a professional sword swallower, or certainly not one who has been trained.

The far reaches of the galaxy are full of cold and desolate worlds. Privius 9 is no exception. Exeri finds the world and to his amazement discovers a small creature on its surface. He quickly identifies it as a wild Void Fawn. They are beautiful creatures, but are also deadly.
